Is forum helper who is able to see if there's congestion in SW11 (Area 21). Obviously a lot more people (including myself) are currently working from home but the connection is pretty much unusable in the day (D/L is typically 2-3Mb and upload speed is pretty close to 0). It's ok early morning/night, so i am assuming the issue is a congestion one.
As a second question, i've tried upgrading from 50Mb to 200Mb on Monday, in the faint hope this may somehow help but this hasn't been processed. How long does that usually take?
Have you checked the 'Check Service Status' at the top of the page ?
If nothing is showing try phoning 0800 561 0061, this will tell you of more local issues that may not be affecting the area. Be aware that it isn't a manned line.
Go round all the accessible co-ax connections and ensure that they are finger tight.

Can you set up a Broadband Quality Monitor (BQM) atthinkbroadband.com - this will give you an insight into what is happening with the signal at the Hub, it will take a few hours to get any kind of trend showing although you can post the link straight away.

Thanks for the response. The service status showed a problem on Monday (when it first became slow) but it then said that was resolved Monday afternoon. It doesn't seemed to have helped my issue though. The connection tightness seems ok. I am now working of my phone hotspot, so i'd need to try the BQM link on the weekend. I've logged back on though, and copied the router status below.
PS - Any idea how long the speed change to 200Mb should take?
