just switched to Virgin....what have i done!?,download speeds are horrendous when using NordVPN!?,just switched form Sky,and BT before that, never had any issues with speeds etc, virgin suppose to be approx 3 times faster that sky was,but its the opposite!,its garbage.
only just signed up,if thats the way it is now with virgin they might be getting my 'bye bye' within the cooling off period.
i would imagine this farce will lose them Many Many customers!??

ok thanks. couldnt even conect to anything in modem mode?,zero internet. had to reset, then tried in normal mode 51.92mb without VPN 41.36 with VPN but when downloading through VPN i only get about 1mb speed!!?,was alot faster with Sky using same VPN/sites/downloads etc and sky was 38mb not 100mb .
there's your problem you are using a VPN it will suck up most your bandwidth and the reasoning behind the VPN is because you either want to download illegal media.software or browse youtube or other streaming software not allowed in the UK so way to out yourself since the software built into the virgin media hub is more than capable at stopping many hackers, try it without the VPN active and do a proper speed test while posting the results because i can tell you right now if your on the M350 connection you would NOT be getting 50MB down speeds.
im not on M350 only M100,but with no VPN being used and just doing the speedtest i only get 51.92mb download speed, shouldnt i be getting very close to the 100mb thats advertised??. also the fact that i used the very same software/sites/VPN on Sky and BT with no speed problems or restrictions leads me to believe it Virgins new router and software to blame!?
