I was called just after 8am today’s from a person claiming to be from Virgin Media. He told me that my internet speeds were not what they should be and he then asked me to check how many lights were showing on my router. As I was suspicious I asked him for my address. He said he worked for the technical department and didn’t have access to such information.
I ended the call perhaps prematurely. I am on the 500mbit broadband and,of late, the wired connection is much less. I assumed that was because so many people were working from home. Was this a rogue call?
