Rip off

Who'd have thought, sign a new contract with virgin and your packet loss goes through roof, web pages struggle to load up and constant disconnects. Do the online test and apparently everything is fine... I'm actually having to do this through my mobile phone because it's so damn painful on pc....

Re: Rip off

Setup a ping graph with thinkbroadband, post live link, and post status from downstream and upstream from hub.

Re: Rip off

Like I said...I'm trying to do this by phone...it's far too difficult to post the graph over phone for some reason... But needless to say, at about every day, between 3pm and 7pm I'm getting massive packet loss- up to 80% and disconnects..it happening with everything on the WiFi. It's not my pc... Then other times it's ok with a fairly steady 2-3% packet loss...

Re: Rip off

Looks like you got an issue, can you post stats from downstream and upstream from Hub?

Re: Rip off

The amps in the street side cabinets can be a bit unstable when they get hot.
Does the sun come round onto it in the afternoon?

My downstream levels drop by 4dB and upstream raise by 2dB going from cold to hot.
