After my previous post went completely ignored, the upload speed issue was eventually rectified with all four Modulation Channels returning to 64QAM and upload speeds around 50Mbps.
It lasted for about a month.
Now we're back to 32QAM, 64QAM, 64QAM, 16QAM and awful upload speeds, which is causing access to the work PC via Remote Desktop to run pretty poorly.
How long until it gets fixed again? An online check gives the usual 'there's a fault in your postcode area' but no indication of what the problem is or when it's likely to get rectified.

For the Modulation modes to degrade it is a noise issue on the cables.
Sometimes the local faults number 0800 561 0061 has better details.

I have taken a look and I can see there is an area outage and we understand this is frustrating and we are sorry for this.

Thanks for getting back to us, having looked into this again it appears the outage you are facing was extended and is now set to last until the 14th August.
