Question related to Speed

Today is the 2nd day using virgin media router.

Yesterday I separated the 2.4 and 5ghz and as a result I was getting pretty much the top speeds upstairs as well

I’ve noticed the speeds have gone to around 200-250. Is the due to trafficking in the network

Ps- I have my own router - ASUS-AX82U WiFi Modem Router

  • AX 5400.

200 to 250 might be great or might be grim, we don't know what VM service you are on or what you had seen before that was considered to be fine.  Speed test via WiFi are frequently a let down because the mobile or laptop is free to lower the link speed to maintain a reliable connection.  Speeds test via a cable direct to the router for a reliable / repeatable test.
