Poor Speed / Online Gaming Lag - BQM Attached

Hi guys,

As above I have been having poor download and upload speeds lately which I have noticed since the start of lockdown.

I have also started doing some online gaming again which I haven't for years really but I am experiencing lag.

I am on the 350mb download package.

The Superhub 3 is connected in modem mode to an Asus RT-AX88U router running Merlin firmware via a VPN.

To be clear if I remove both the VPN and/or Asus router from the equation this doesn't seem to make any difference so I am confident that the problem is with the Virgin broadband itself.

Please see my BQM below - Can anyone help please?

I have actually considered paying for Gig1 fibre but don't think that this would actually help as perhaps there is a fault with the line somewhere?

Any help is much appreciated.

Can you please

Type 192.168.0.1 (192.168.100.1 in Modem mode) into your browser URL bar and press enter. 

When the page appears DO NOT LOG IN but click ‘Check Router Status’.

Copy and paste the contents of the Downstream, Upstream and Network Log tabs onto here, if you get a yellow warning click the Post button again.

A Guru will be along soon to decipher the info.

They are very good BQMs for a VM Broadband line.

This is mine, my lad uses it for online gaming without any problems. The lost packets are forced reboots to check some settings.

Thank you for reaching out to us in our community, I am sorry to hear you are having issues with your connection, I have checked thing our end and cannot see any issues at all, your levels are all where they should be.

 

Also looking at your quality reports everything looks OK.

Doing any downloading or uploading can cause ping spikes or you have something bad on your network doing a DoS or are by DoS.

Hi guys,

Thank you for looking at this and commenting it is appreciated.

This is my BQM from the last 24 hours - As it was Sunday my brother was trying to play Counter-strike yesterday but his ping kept spiking to 1200!  I don't think any of my devices would have auto downloaded for the full 4pm to 2am period or 6am onwards this morning so not sure what this could be?
