Hi all,
My connection has become pretty broken: Quality Monitor Different Link
SamKnows won't even complete without failing with "Lost Connection"
Phoning Virgin results in "It shows 1Gbps here, try a pinhole reset" followed by "We have to give it 48 hours now before we can look at this again"
I'm expecting a call tomorrow at 10am (we'll see if that happens!) but in the mean time I have real problems with any TV interactive services or indeed, anything much to do with the internet.
Any suggestions while I wait?

How do the Upstream and Downstream Power levels and Modulation modes look in the Hub's status pages ?
Copy past the logs into the forum if you would like a hand in reviewing them.
Check for area and local faults using : https://my.virginmedia.com/faults/service-status
Call 0800 561 0061 for more local faults
There are a couple of Samknow test pages did you have this one : https://www.samknows.com/realspeed/ ( for Hubs (3/4/5) in Router mode )

No issues listed in area faults. Tech lady that I spoke with yesterday also stated no known faults.
Yes, I was trying realspeed on SamKnows. If I only do the simple download speed test it will sometimes complete without timing out, with Router Speed showing anything from 40mbps up to the full 1120mbps depending on what it feels like. I've not been able to complete the full test without it timing out.
What's the best way to show my BQM as an image in these posts?

Hmmm... it appears that the packet loss has suddenly fixed itself...??

Hi John,
I changed nothing and if VM fixed something it was something they were keeping very quiet about... but it does appear to be resolved (for now?)
Hub's in normal router mode and the only things plugged in are a Hive hub and a Win10 workstation.
Cheers,
Tony

It didn't... shocker!
