Phone call selling upgrade - misleading

I had a call from Virgin yesterday wanting me to upgrade.  I said i was only interested in faster broadband.  She said yes, they would do that and give me extra channels, also sky cinema.  I said I didn't want sky cinema as I don't watch films often and have netflix.  Was told cost would be £1 per month for first 12 months and I could cancel with 1 month notice.  Had email confirmation that only change was addition of sky cinema and cost of £11.55 instantly.  Not as agreed.  Of course they had time to call me, but I cant get through to them ...
