Packet loss, poor speed

I have 200mbps service, cat 6 cable directly to pc, all has been well until a fortnight ago. Now once or twice a day, usualy late evening, my download speed drops to single figures and spikes back up to around 150 constantly and upload speed drops below 1mbps. I have repeatedly rebooted hub and pc, reset hub, changed the cat 6 cable etc etc. Not surprisingly service status shows no problems in my area. Any ideas will be greatfully received.

It looks like an issue on the Virgin network is occurring in your area, if its still an issue in the morning I would recommend calling customer service at 8am when lines open, 0345 454 1111.

Alternatively hang on here and a staff member will be along to check issue out.
