Put a similar post in Networking and Wifi, but nothing came of it, and my partner said it would be best to repost it here. From 6pm until 11am, I'm getting 30% packet loss, and my upload speed is around 0.2mbps or lower. Download is not affected. Here's the stats:
Got something come up online earlier saying they were going to fix the problem in the area (ID: F008399498). That was a lie for us, as our problem didn't get fixed at all. I could tell it was a lie too, because it was apparently "fixed" at 11am, conveniently when our internet's back up and running correctly. The lack of information on all fronts is what's really annoying. Both me and my partner use the internet predominantly during the times when it's been bad. Here's today's BQM to prove the problem hasn't gone away. My partner's put in a complaint too, just so it gets noticed by someone higher up. It's been over a week, we can't keep putting up with this for 17 hours a day.
The Network log and the BQM illustrate the problem, but the other data indicates no problem that I'm seeing in terms of power levels or noise. Both BQM show a slightly noisy, but otherwise adequate connection 11am to 5pm, and outside that it is indeed unusable. This doesn't look related to local network congestion (which usually has a very different profile), but the underlying cause is presumably something that happens only from 5pm to 11am, but continuously during those hours. Anything you can think of, either in the house or locally?
