To be fair, it seems that yesterday VM managed to solve the issue, after 16 days, there are only some minor spikes in packet loss:

Sorry to see you go, it took our faults and networks teams longer than anticipated to pin down the trouble and fix things 😞
I would thank those that contributed on the various threads reporting the issue, this really helped raise the awareness of the fault and contribute to it's eventual remedy.
