Not getting internet speed I pay for

I pay for

M250 Fibre Broadband with average download speeds of 264Mbps.

On average I get 25-50 Mbps. restarted my hub many time and even contacted virgin media by phone.

I have been told I have noise on the line caused by the green box hub network down the street.

Can you get a refund for not providing the service you pay for?

Have only 9 Downstream Channels connected ?
Hub 3s normally connect 24 Downstream Channels.

I also have M250 and been using them close to 4 years now. Your power level look similar to mine

You been asked is the speed you getting via Wi-Fi or wired. If get around 260+ wired then we can safely assume the line is fine and the Wi-Fi is the issue.

I use TP-Link Archer AX55(£75) and get 250+ all over the 3 bed 2 storey house.

As @Client62  asked, we need to see the rest of your Downstream channel stats.  If that is all you have, then there is something badly wrong.

I'm a Very Insightful Person, I'm here to share knowledge, I don't work for Virgin Media. Learn more

The OP is fully aware of a noise issue.

That should be reported with estimates to fix via VM's local issues line : 0800 561 0061.

Hello Joe90galaxy

We're sorry to hear of the issues regarding your broadband speeds, we understand the frustration this can cause and you taking the time to raise this via the forums. Welcome to the community.

From checking the connection and equipment all of the levels appear to be within the ranges and spec's we'd expect to see. We can see the speeds have dropped in recent days, up until the 22nd July the speeds were fine but have dropped over the last few days to 280mbps download and 30mbps upload.

Have you made any changes in that time? Has anything happened during this time with the network at all that you're aware of?
