Not getting 350 just 200 still

Hey guys,

I upgraded about a month ago to 350 from 200 with the super hub 2 in modem mode.

I always get 200 down and 20 up however since moving to 350 it has remained the same old speeds.

I called the support line and was told it was still pending and was not 'active' so they apparently fix that but after 24 hours and a hard reset on the router and super hub, I am still getting the same 200 speed. My neighbour who has 350 is getting that speed on the newer hub.

Anyone know if this is a limitation on the super hub 2 in modem mode or if support did not activate the 350 speeds still or if I am being too impatient?

I don't want to call again as its wasting their time if its not an account issue.

My router is an Asus RT-N66U and is capable for speeds up to 500.

what does your hub config say you are provisioned at.

And yes the hub 2 can support 500

I was advised when moving from 200Mbps to 350Mbps that it required the HUB 3?

Not sure where to find the hub config when in modem mode as advanced settings is locked.

I will call VM support again now and update the thread with the findings.

Hey,

An update since my call with VM customer support. I will be getting a new router super hub 3.

Thanks for all the help.

NOTE: HUB 2 does not support 200mb plus speeds.

For M350, it doesn't really.

It's only provisioned in the network when you have a Hub 3 (or Hub 4). None of the Super Hubs will pick up the configuration even if they're technically capable of supporting the speed.

Same is true of M500 and the upcoming M600 for Ultimate Oomph customers.

Very interesting. I am unsure why this isn't on the package itself where as soon as you accept it it send you the equipment or get things rolling via email/phone call.

It sounds like you need a HUB 3 then!

The least painful method currently is to text 07533 051809 and explain your issue.
