Hi I've recently had 1gig broadband installed today when I do speed check on the virgin connect app its saying my speed test is really good but when I'm gaming and downloading while using the WiFi it's really slow, I've since done speed test on my computer and its really slow compared to what the viegin connect app says is this normal for new service?

don't download when gaming

use a router with QoS/BWM

But when I do speed test on my playstation 5 its 154 mbps download and 9.2 mbps upload that's through wifi

What does the samknows test say for speeds with only the laptop connected?

The playstation measurement is not reliable, and with a Wi-Fi connection even less so.
