New Glasgow Gig1 customer - slow speeds..is it me?
Okay, so today I migrated from the 500mb package up to Gig1 and received my Hub 4 and activated it but the download speeds are truly appalling.
I've wasted my day checking just about every Hub4 post in this forum, followed all the advice in these posts, plugged in a CAT 6 & a new CAT 7 cable via ethernet to my Windows 10 Laptop and to my iMac and cant get speeds above 300mb. There are no reported issues in my area.
I had faster wifi and ethernet speeds yesterday when I was on the 500mb package. Looking at this forum I see quite a lot of posts regarding Gig1 and the inferior Hub 4 and I am reading a lot of posts from unhappy and frustrated customers who are spending an inordinate amount of their time tweaking and testing things to get the speed they are paying for - it shouldn't be this hard. I've posted my router stats below if someone would be kind enough to look and see if there is anything strikingly obvious from my stats, I would really appreciate any advice, thank you.
