NHS worker with high latency and packet loss on infrequent evenings off!

Hi, I've had virgin media m200 now for a about a week or 2 but have been extremely busy at work.

When I finally do have time to relax at home im noticing that I have high latency and packet loss from my Internet.

I have a superhub 3 in modem mode connected to a mesh network. Wired testing to a connected laptop meets the top speeds but there is high latency and packet loss as evidenced by BQM.

I have done all the usual steps including resets etc, still no luck. My area reference is 04. Any assistance on the matter would be much appreciated.

I can't see any packet loss on the graph, just the usual latency when the network is really busy

Re: NHS worker with high latency and packet loss on infrequent evenings off!

This is just the latest snapshot I had at hand though packet loss has been demonstrated on previous days on BQM and within apps themselves including online mp games. A lot of buffering on video streaming and conferencing.

Can I ask, even given the current crisis, is the above BQM chart an acceptable internet service? Is there any problem with my broadband? I have the option to remote work at home which requires solid Internet service for diagnostic imaging work..

The latency you're experiencing only really matters with gaming, during normal internet usage it;s not noticeable
