Moved from Sky

Hi, 1st day with VM. Got the ooomph pack with 600mb BB however it’s only showing as 400 on the router, will this resolve itself?

speed is what it is - it does not learn - how do you get 400 - wired or wifi

Are you think that where it says Frequency is the speed as yoy say on the router and only posted them screenshots? if so you are wrong you can check under Configuration tab to see if you are on the correct profile

Please can you click here to do a speedtest on both your wired and then your wireless connection? Then post the results (Screenshot)

Try this one:

The servers at Speedtest.net all give different readings, to the extent that VM no longer recommend them & have removed their own speedtest servers from the site.

Hi, thanks, I was just following the link from VM for the test, I will test again tomorrow when the kids are out using the new link.

Is this normal though to only see 200/300 download when I am on 600? The network is even struggling with Teams calls when I work from home which I never had an issue on Sky Fibre with, I mentioned to the lady who signed me up that I had lots of smart home devices and could the router handle it and no issues were raised on the router side and the speed was recommended. Really worried now i have made the wrong decision with working from home etc.

Do I need the new VM router will this help?
