M600 package, speeds very poor after being rock solid for the last 6 months.

Having issues with our m600 package the last week.

Speeds have been very poor, in particular upload speeds have taken a hit. Connection has been rock solid for the last 6 months up to now. Noticed some T3 timeouts on the router before I restarted it. Connected to Hub via Ethernet. Checked all cables etc.

Noticed bad jitter on the line when doing speed tests.

Re: M600 package, speeds very poor after being rock solid for the last 6 months.

Lots of pre and post RS errors this morning on the downstream although speeds seem slightly better. Could it be a utilisation issue?

Re: M600 package, speeds very poor after being rock solid for the last 6 months.

Your upload power levels are bordering on the high side and you have a lot of Post RS Errors. Have you tried a factory reset? Hold in the pinhole at the rear of the router for at least 50 seconds and then release (the lights will flash while holding in the pinhole reset button after about 10-15 seconds) then allow 5 minutes for the router to reboot and re-sync the connection.

Also can you please setup a Broadband Quality Monitor (BQM) at thinkbroadband.com. Just click on Create a new monitor.

Under your graph you just created Click (Share Live Graph) then click generate.

Copy the text in the “Direct Link” box and paste it on here

What are your speeds like overnight?

If you don't want to stay up and don't mind leaving your PC on then SpeedTest.net do a CLI version that can be triggered by a schedule.

We'll let your BQM run for a few hours, typically over night and see if it shows anything 🙂
