M500 Fibre Broadband plan below minimum guaranteed download speed even with wired connected.

As the title says, even with wired a wired connection the internet speed on speedtest.net was 248 Mbps which is a bit short of the guaranteed download speed, however on my phone or a wireless laptop connection the speed fell to 20 Mbps and 14 Mbps respectively. I have used the Virgin Media Connect throughout the house and not found any black spots for connectivity.

The Downstream, Upstream and Network Logs are attached as screenshots, as well as screenshots of the internet speed tests. I've also copy and pasted the information directly into this post below:

Our apologies for any broadband related issue you're having. This certainly isn't what we like to see. 

 

Can you confirm for me the devices you've been conducting the speed tests on?

 

Do you see any increase or decrease in speed at certain times?

Hi,

The devices we use are android phones and windows laptops only. The internet speed is relatively consistent throughout the day.

How many devices do you have connected to the hub? Do you have our Virgin Media Connect App? If yes have you checked out our Blackspot checker?

There are about 8 devices connected, 7 of them via wifi and 1 with ethernet. As I said in the original post, the Virgin Media connect app showed there arent any blackspots in the house.

Forget Wi-Fi for now.

Use a Cat 5E / 6 ethernet cable connected to a 1Gbs capable Pc/Mac/Chromebook and no other devices and carry out speed tests at speedtest.net then report back the speeds that you get.

The speed when using a Cat 6 ethernet cable is 355 Mbps, however this is during offpeak times. For all the other devices that use wifi the speed is far below the minimum guaranteed speed and even the ethernet cable falls below the guaranteed speed at certain times in the day.
