M350 speed not achieved

I am getting sometimes 6 Mbps sometimes 20 rarely 350 which is what I am paying for. How can I get this fixed?

You are not alone. I am in south Edinburgh, Bruntsfield and have been monitoring my network performance over the last month using the broadband.com speedtest tool.  As you can see below, with the exception of the 11/12th April when I got the service I am paying for, its otherwise been very poor.  Yes I've rebooted everything frequently. It makes no difference.

I am using this site (which Virgin recommend):  https://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest

Modern Dell OptiPlex i5 16Mb  Win10 constant updates. Cat 6 direct into hub 3. No big downloads. All connectors checked and tight.

Here is my log for this month. Very poor.

My internet is consistently much much slower than I am paying for.

How do I complian to Virgin?

Follow their complaint process.

But OFCOM have suspended some complaints due to COVID

Sorry to see that you've been having issues with the speed of your services. Can you please advise me of what speeds you get on the hub when using an Ethernet cable and with the hub in modem mode?

 

Can you also please advise me how long you've been experiencing speed issues with the services?
