M350 slow download

Hi, having serious issues with m350 wifi, problem is with every device in house no matter proximity to router. Currently getting 300KB/s down... tried everything suggested, wires are all in properly etc... no problems in my area. reset router. Called VM and they reset stuff completely, still no fix... not sure what to do, is it a hardware issue? and how do I sort it out, VM take about an hour to get through on the phone and then hang up after not really helping.

Re: M350 slow download

If possible can you set up a Broadband Quality Monitor (BQM) at thinkbroadband.com - this will give you an insight into what is happening with the signal at the other side of the Hub, it will take a few hours to get any kind of trend showing although you should post the link straight away.

Please post a 'Live Link' to your BQM on here straight away.

Instructions for posting BQM Live Link

Under your BQM graph are two links in red.

Click the lower link (Share Live Graph) then click generate.

Copy the text in the Direct Link box, beware, there may be more text than you can see.

On here click the Link icon (2 links chain to the left of the camera icon)

In the URL box paste the link you copied and in the ‘text to display’ box write My BQM then click OK - you can post the link straight away.

Re: M350 slow download

Can you please

Type 192.168.0.1 (192.168.100.1 in Modem mode) into your browser URL bar and press enter.

Hub 2 & 3 When the page appears DO NOT LOG IN but click ‘Check Router Status’.

Hub 4 When the page appears LOG IN then Advanced Settings > Tools > Network Status.

Copy and paste the contents of the Downstream, Upstream, Configuration and Network Log tabs onto here, if you get a yellow / straw box warning click the Post button again.

Use one post for each tab if you wish.

Please do not use screen grabs.

A Guru will be along soon to decipher the info.

Re: M350 slow download

Your Hub data is all in spec.

Your Log leaves a lot to be desired.

At the top of the next hour can you please reboot the Hub using this method ...

Switch the Hub off using the small switch on the rear of the Hub next to the power cord and pull the PSU plug from the wall socket.

While the Hub is powered off go around all the accessible co-ax connectors inside and outside to ensure that they are finger tight.

Give it a good 5 minutes put the plug back in and switch the Hub back on.

Allow the Hub a few minutes to fully restart then try your connection again.

Your >> BQM << will need to run for a few more hours for any kind of trend to start showing and 24 hours for a proper picture to show.

Re: M350 slow download

Done with no real change.

I'd like to describe the problem better. The connection is good and bad, sometimes it will be good for hours with 12 down, sometimes it will go between off and 500kbs. cant seem to tell a pattern. Up is fine and so is ping, its just down.
