M350 slow ~ 150Mbps

I'm on the M350 package but generally see download speeds of around 150Mbps and upload speeds of around 30Mbps using speedtest.net, although other speed check sites give broadly similar results.  The time of day for the testing doesn't seem to effect this speed higher or lower very much.

I'm running in modem mode and testing using a Cat6 wired connection, and no other users at the time of testing.

Re: M350 slow ~ 150Mbps

Error levels may be a concern, and these are counted from the last restart.  If the hub wasn't off overnight, can you re-post the Downstream data, because my suspicion is that the post-RS error count may be creeping up and would possibly cause speed problems.  If it was off overnight, we'll need at least 12 or 24 hours of data to make sense of the error count.

May also be worth posting the Network log.

Re: M350 slow ~ 150Mbps

Hi datalus,

Thanks for posting and welcome to our forums 🙂

Sorry to see you've been experiencing some slow speeds.

I've run a health and the hub looks to be within the specifications we would expect.

How're things since your post last Friday? Can you confirm if you're using a third party router?

Re: M350 slow ~ 150Mbps

Hi Alex-RM,

I am still experiencing the same speeds.  The superhub is in modem mode so I am using a Draytek Vigor router, but I get the same speeds when using the Superhub in router mode and no other 3rd party router involved.

Re: M350 slow ~ 150Mbps

Thanks for getting back to me datalus,

We're unable to go through any diagnostics if you're using a third party router, you can however speak with our Gadget Rescue team on 0808 168 7910

If you're able to put the hub back into modem mode we can take a closer look.

Don’t speak to the Gadget Rescue team.

They charge and extortionate amount of money for nothing.
