M350 poor performance

Hello,

On M350 - performance dropped from 200+ MB about 3 days ago to 30mb through the day today and now as bad as 15, sometimes even single digits. Ping normal & upload not as bad. All done on a wired connection straight into the hub after a full factory reset.

Log gubbins below - need to fix ASAP as I need this connection for work!

Your Hub stats look OK.

Can you set up a Broadband Quality Monitor (BQM) at thinkbroadband.com - this will give you an insight into what is happening with the signal at the other side of the Hub, it will take a few hours to get any kind of trend showing although you should post the link straight away.

Post a link to your BQM on here.

Instructions for posting BQM Link

Under your BQM graph are two links in red.

Click the lower link (Share Live Graph) then click generate.

Copy the text in the Direct Link box, beware, there may be more text than you can see.

On here click the Link icon (2 links chain to the left of the camera icon)

In the URL box paste the link you copied and in the ‘text to display’ box write My BQM then click OK - you can post the link straight away.

At the top right of the page, click on Check service status

there might something going on in your area as your Network log

shows 13 warning and critical errors for today alone.

It would seem that the status page isn't kept up to date most of the time

If you log in to https://my.virginmedia.com/home/index#.  and run the broadband test

it might just pick up in whatever is wrong.

Your BQM has to populate before giving an accurate picture, but from what is showing

now, it doesn't look good.  Check that all your cable connections are thumb tight

unplug and replug them again

If there is no improvement then

I think one of the Forum team needs to look at things from their end

but it can take a few days to get around to your post

Test done, cables wiggled and checked - 10mbps.

Sadly not looking like a quick fix!

BQM looks quieter overnight but lots of yellow spikes again this am. No idea what that means!

Speeds in the low 30s this morning (wired) - again, was consistently getting 200mbs+ on Wi-Fi (>300mbs wired) prior to this week...
