M350 Terrible Upload Speed | Brighton

Hi,

Received my upgrade self install pack equipment yesterday and it was working perfect. And now, it looks like the honeymoon period is over after 24hrs. It's impossible to work from home, as I have to upload a lot of documents.

I'm based in Brighton.

My Superhub 3 is in modem mode, I'm using my own Asus AC5300 router and I'm connected via ethernet. This is currently my regular (non vpn) speed:

830 Kbps upload speed. Might as well not give me an upload speed at this rate. YIKES!

Re: M350 Terrible Upload Speed | Brighton

All four of your Upstream Modulations are wrong, they should be 64 QAM.

45369934745.5512016 qam1

Your >> BQM << is showing WAN side problems.

Go round all the accessible internal and external co-ax connections and ensure that they are finger tight.

Re: M350 Terrible Upload Speed | Brighton

Hi,

I've checked all my co-ax cables indoors and outdoors, all are secured.

What I don't understand is that it happened a day after it was working as 'intended'. Nothing has changed from my side since.

The download is so erratic and the upload is more or less non existent. Here's my latest speed test just now after a 5 minute reboot. 387Mbps down, 0.65Mbps up.

Click the lower link (Share Live Graph) then click generate.

Copy the text in the Direct Link box, beware, there may be more text than you can see.

On here click the Link icon (2 links chain to the left of the camera icon)

In the URL box paste the link you copied and in the ‘text to display’ box write My BQM then click OK

Re: M350 Terrible Upload Speed | Brighton

Your >> BQM << looks like a noisy line to me.

You can either call in (08:00 is the best time) to report your poor upload speeds or wait on here for a few days (6 to 7 days average) until one of the VM Forum Staff comes along.

If you wait on here Do Not bump the thread it will put it further down the VM 'to do list'.
