Over the last few weeks I've noticed a drastic drop in download speeds depending on the website.
On some websites I'll get download speeds of 200-300KB/s, where as on others I'd get the full 45MB/s.
At first I assumed it was an issue with the website's servers, but download speeds of 200-300KB/s for 20-30MB files are happening too often to be coincidence. Apart from speedtest.net, every other speed test website I've tested is affected.
I've tested this on multiple devices, both ethernet and wifi, and the results (both file downloads and speedtests) are the same across all.
Some websites and servers are fine. Others are not.
Would anyone mind having a look at the downstream/upstream to see if there is an obvious issue?
Re: M350 - Massive speed disparity across websites
You’re having the same issue everyone else is having at the moment . Virgin isnt acknowledging that there is a problem for some reason. Using a decent VPN to bypass the faulty peering route will sort out your speed issues for the time being.
