Re: M200 wired speed 26.90-56.35

Nothing really wrong your stats or log. A few post rs errors - keep you an eye how quickly those numbers grow...

Based on the info on the previous page about the negotiated speed of your wired connection, I think  a test with a different cable is the next step.

in addition, if you log into the hub and browse to “device connection status” what does it report as the speed of the connection to the pc? Presumably 100mb, but worth a look.

Re: M200 wired speed 26.90-56.35

If your laptop only has USB 2.0 I'm guessing it probably only has a 10/100 network card to which a cable won't help but worth a try I guess. Until you have a system with a 1Gbps network card or capable of running USB 3.0 to 1Gbps Ethernet and a Cat 5e or better cable you won't really benefit from the fast speed that Virgin offer 😞

@sophist Nothing really wrong your stats

Actually, the ratio of pre- and post-RS errors looks highly suspect, and the range of downstream power levels is probably beyond the hub's ability to cope. That's the thing about DOCSIS, it's 20% science, 80% magic, meaning that the whole picture needs to be interpreted/guessed.

I'll flag that for staff to comment.
