M200 slow down

I'm on the M200 package and up until last week was achieving download speeds on speedtest.net of over 200Mbps.  This week the max speed is topping out at around 91Mbps.  Upload speed is unaffected and is consistantly at around 20Mbs.  All dowload channels are in the power range 3.7 to 6.8 dBmV. SNR 40db.  Few pre-RS errors, No  Post-RS errors.

How are you testing Wi-Fi or ethernet cable ?

If Wi-Fi what is it like on ethernet cable connection ?

Firstly set up a Broadband Quality Monitor (BQM) at thinkbroadband.com - this will give you an insight into what is happening with the signal at the Hub, it will take a few hours to get any kind of trend showing.

Post a link to your BQM on here.

Instructions for posting BQM Link

Under your BQM graph are two links in red.

Click the lower link (Share Live Graph) then click generate.

Copy the text in the Direct Link box, beware, there may be more text than you can see.

On here click the Link icon (2 link chain)

 In the URL box paste the link you copied and then click OK

Then

Type 192.168.0.1 (192.168.100.1 in Modem mode) into your browser URL bar and press enter.  When the page appears DO NOT LOG IN but click ‘Check Router Status’. Copy and paste the contents of each tab onto here, a Guru will be along soon to decipher the info.

BQM will need a day or so to build a sensible picture. Stats all look fine.

iMac is connected by ethernet.

Router is in modem mode, connected to an Apple Airport Extreme.

Please confirm that the iMac has got at least a 100/1000 Network Interface Card (NIC) and the drivers are up to date.

Can you try different ethernet cables between the Hub and Router and iMac please, a dicky cable can pull the speed down.

I changed the cable between the router and the Airport Extreem and I'm back up to 209Mbs  Yeah!
