I've had a few issues with connection the past few days, but after a couple of technician visits, they seem to be fixed. However, I have just noticed that my speed is nothing like as fast as it's supposed to be.
My account says: Your speed boost is complete! Your connection speed is now up to200Mbps.
But going on speedtest.net my maximum with a wired connection is around 45Mbps
I've pasted the configuration tab from the router info below. Can anybody help?
You are on the 200 service so, can you test speeds directly like this.
As you expect >100Mbps then connect a 1GB enabled computer/laptop, with up to date drivers, via a known good (new!) and working Cat5e (or better) ethernet cable (not an old Cat5 one), directly to the Hub which you have put into “modem mode”. Test at speedtest.net (not the App!) to your nearest VM server - try on 2 different browsers.
If they are still low – boot the device into safe+networking mode and try again.
There are many posts on here where unknown software, corrupted browsers or other connected devices are limiting speeds on tests.
Report back what that gets.

I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired 2 WiFi,) SH2 in modem mode with Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's. On VIVID200, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.
Post your signal levels. And it could just be high utilization in your area too.
---- I do not work for VM, but I would. It is just a Job. Most things I say I make up and sometimes it's useful, don't be mean if it's wrong. I would also make websites for them, because the job never seems to require the website to work.
