M200 getting 20-30 down!

Until approx. last week.  I'm going to say since the weekend of the 5th & 6th.

The internet is "working" fine.  From the perspective that web browsing is OK, my partner and I can hold Zoom, Teams calls etc. without issue.  My son can play games online.

HOWEVER, trying to download a large file really struggles.  In fact that 1st weekend our Sky box was unable to download ANY on demand content ad Netflix could only stream at approx. 0.5mb.

It "kind of" sorted itself out during the middle of last week, but we're only getting speeds of between 20 and 30 down.

Whether it's trying to download on demand content through Sky, a game update with the PlayStation etc. this is now really slow (to us at least as we're used to 200).

Any ideas?  Nothing has changed from our side.  We've noticed a few Post RS errors, this was pretty much at 0.  We've also noticed messages about "partial service" in the network log - don't know what that means.

Below are all the usuals:

Re: M200 getting 20-30 down!

We're still seeing this.  We did run through the online tests, but they all came back saying there wasn't an issue.

I forgot to clarify in the other posts.  We're area 12 (Birmingham) and using a Hub 3 in router mode (upgraded from a Super Hub 2 (non ac) in October).

Re: M200 getting 20-30 down!

Check that your IP number hasn't changed, because if it has, your BQM will be showing a former IP number's graph, instead of the one you now have

Your stats could be better.

You were right!  Our IP had changed!  I've updated the BBQM to reflect.

It'll be interesting to see the change in results.  I've never seen that in all the years I've been with Virgin.  Obviously I've seen it change, on change of router, moving to/from modem mode.  I've just never seen it change "naturally" (if you know what I mean).

Anyway, as I've said before, our internet is working.  Just at 20 to 30mb.

I rebooted the router a day or so ago, so these are "fresh" numbers.
