M100 consistently 30-40Mb/s speeds

Hi there,

Getting consistently < 50% speed rates. Very rarely do I hit about 55Mb/s. I'm on a wired connection, ethernet plugged directly into my hub4.0. The upload speed has always been atrociously bad too.

latest speed test result

I'm trying to generate network logs but greeted by this empty page after pressing "router status"

Here is a BQM link which I saw might be helpful

Re: M100 consistently 30-40Mb/s speeds

You have very high latency indicated on your >> BQM <<, it needs a few more hours (preferably 24) to see what trens it shows.

What speeds do you get at >> Sam Knows Real Speed << with a direct connection using a Cat 5E or better cable between the Hub in Router Mode and a 1Gbs capable Pc/Mac/Chromebook and no other devices connected ?

Re: M100 consistently 30-40Mb/s speeds

Can you Login to the Hub Settings and navigate to the Connected Devices page - what is the reported 'connection speed’ for the ethernet cable connected device you used for the speed test ?

Re: M100 consistently 30-40Mb/s speeds

Thanks for the speedy reply.

RealSpeed results:

Download: 30.5 Mbps to Hub4, 35.3 to computer

Upload: 0.92, 1.11

Latency 25.4, 26.3

The Hub Settings page is reporting 1000Mb/s for my PC.

Re: M100 consistently 30-40Mb/s speeds

Can you please

Type 192.168.0.1 (192.168.100.1 in Modem mode) into your browser URL bar and press enter.

Hub 2 & 3 When the page appears DO NOT LOG IN but click ‘Check Router Status’.

Hub 4 When the page appears LOG IN then click ‘Check Router Status’.

Copy and paste the contents of the Downstream, Upstream, Configuration and Network Log tabs onto here, if you get a yellow / straw box warning click the Post button again. Use one post for each tab if you wish.

Please do not use screen grabs.

A Guru will be along soon to decipher the info.

Re: M100 consistently 30-40Mb/s speeds

I'm using Hub 4 but can't see any Check Router Status prompts anywhere after logging in.

There is a button for it before logging in but it just says "Router Status", shows a loading symbol for a second and then goes blank (screenshot in original post). Tried using firefox and explorer.

Re: M100 consistently 30-40Mb/s speeds

You will need to drill down through the Menus, this is for the Hub 3, the Hub 4 will be similar.
