Low broadband speed?

I have the M100 package (advertised download speeds of 108Mbps) but every test I run shows a download speed of between 1.7 Mbps and 2.9 Mbps. Upload speed is steady at 10 Mbps. Surely this is slow?! Any help appreciated.

Re: Low broadband speed?

Hiya,

I have taken a look at your post and i can't actually really see anything wrong apart from Number 6 downstream being a little high.

Are you connected via wireless or wired when you are doing tests?

Have you tried to hold the reset button in for 30 seconds on the back of the Hub and then released and see if going back to defaults is any different?

Hit me back and i'm sure someone will take a closer look into this for you.

Re: Low broadband speed?

Hello

Looks like a noise issue as some T3 / T4 errors as well as the high number of post RS errors, one thing I would do would be to go around and make sure that all coaxial connections to all VM equipment are finger tight best way to do this is too loosen the connector and then re tighten, once that has been done power off hub for 30 secs and then back on.

If the Post RS errors are rising at a large rate then an engineer will be needed to resolve the problem.

Regards Mike
