Latency issues the past week

Hi all

I've been having awful latency issues when gaming in the evening/night this past week or maybe more.

Before this I've been having no issues, and pinging at around 20ms. Now, however, I am constantly getting lag and pings of upwards of 65ms making my games almost unplayable.

I took a snapshot from thinkbroad over the last 24 hours and it shows huge spikes in latency, and from reason other posts I have got my router status information below

Any advice would be great! Thanks

Re: Latency issues the past week

Which Hub do you have ?

What is your contracted speed ?

What speeds do you get at >> speedtest.net << with a direct connection using a Cat 5E or better cable between the Hub in Router Mode and a 1Gbs capable Pc/Mac/Chromebook and no other devices connected ?

Re: Latency issues the past week

Thanks for the reply

I have the Hub 3.0, contracted 100Mbps and more often than not I get over or around 100 on speedtest.

I tested it during one of these periods below on the graph and I was still getting around the same speed as normal

Can you repost the Hub data please, you should have 24 Do...

Can you repost the Hub data please, you should have 24 Downstream Channels and four Upstream Channels.

Re: Can you repost the Hub data please, you should have 24 Do...

HI Flicker20,

Really sorry for the issues you've been having and for the delay in getting back in touch.

I have had a closer look at your account from here and can see a few errors on the hub, however the hub has also been up quite some time.

Would you mind rebooting the hub for me and ensuring it's in the up right position in an open space. Once you've done this let me know and we'll monitor it over 24 hours and see how you get on. If the errors come back pretty quickly then most likely we'll book an engineer visit.

Thanks
