I see a lot of green bars. Is this normal?

Are you colour blind perchance ?

The BQM needs to run for 24 hours to get an accurate picture of your WAN.

Admittedly it doesn't look very good up to now.

Considering your HUB stats look ok, it would appear to be congestion/oversubscription in your area.

Re: Just enabled BQM and lots of yellow bars

I will keep it running but what is the course of action if the yellow bars stay the same? Do I need to call an engineer?

Re: Just enabled BQM and lots of yellow bars

If you see a drop in the yellow between midnight and 08:00 it indicates a utilisation issue.

What speeds do you get at >> speedtest.net << with a direct connection using a Cat 5E or better ethernet cable between the Hub in Router Mode and a 1Gbs capable Pc/Mac/Chromebook and no other devices connected ?

Well, first up, are you actually having any problems?  There's some on-line activity that is destroyed by high or erratic latency, there's other activity where the user won't notice anything.  If you're not having problems, don't worry about the BQM.

Next, if you are having problems and the latency remains poor, and the fault appears consistent irrespective of time, then it's most likely a noise fault, and a technician should be able to fix that.  If the fault has the very clear pattern of over-utilisation (congestion on VM's network around you), then a field technician won't be able to fix that.  But rather than dwell on the possibilities, we should have a clearer picture when there's a full 24 hours of data.

Re: Just enabled BQM and lots of yellow bars

I don't have any issue at the moment. As I mentioned above, I just found out about BQM and was worried when I saw lots of yellow bars.

Re: Just enabled BQM and lots of yellow bars

Excellent.  If you're not having problems, turn off the BQM and don't worry about it.

It is a useful diagnostic tool, but if there's no known problems it is best not to know (excepting myself and other hopeless cases who frequent these forums) .  A bit like having a medical test done without any symptoms or expectation of a problem, t'll just lead to yet more tests and worry.
