Internet speed slow

Our Internet is slow, this has been an issue for sometime, other providers are giving customers a much better range, how can I arrange for you to double our speed?

Take care not to demand a doubling of the speed to a VM sales person - they may sell you that
and it may tie your into a costly mistake that solved nothing.

Could you do a test run with this link, it tests the speed to the Hub, and then to the device.

Before deciding what to do it is important to understand where the speed is being lost.

Once the test starts, click on Run full tests so we get to see the upstream speeds as well.

Do post the results to help the analysis.

Well done Virgin Media - yet another attempt to sell when help to fix is needed !

I don't intend to change my package or pay for more speed.

 

My friend was given this option as they had the same issue as me?

Hi Client62 - thanks for your comment but Paulina was correct to offer the speed increase/package change here. The post states - how can I arrange for you to double our speed? This has been answered correctly as help regarding the speeds has also been offered.

Hi helen_cooper - thanks for coming back to the thread. We wouldn't be able to discuss any other account but yours I'm afraid. We have recently done a speed upgrade for customers who were on our M100/M200 packages, they've been upgraded for no extra cost to M125/M250 respectively. 

Have you tried the Connect App and speed issue pages that my colleague has sent over? 

How are you testing the speeds, wired/wireless and what devices please?
