Upon reading through the posts I can see that this is a problem for a lot of people at the moment. I did not want to piggyback on someone else's post so decided to write my own.
Since the new year, our internet connection drops at least once a day, usually multiple times a day. When it happens we lose both wired and wifi connections.
I tend to turn the router off for a few minutes and then turn it back on - so far I have not done a factory reset.
This happened this morning whilst working - and so I left it for a few minutes and then did a speed test upon reconnection. I am paying for the 200mb package (internet only) and my results were - 6mb, 9mb and then eventually 45mb.
I did tweet the Virgin Media team regarding these issues and they suggested posting here.
I can post my upstream info etc. if required.
