Internet cutting out and not seamless

Tuning in

For over a week now my internet has been cutting out. I've have turned off all other WiFi devices except my laptop but it has made no difference at all. I'm so fed up of problems reoccurring. We've had a technician out at least three times over less than 12 months.

Can we check....
_______________

Are the issues only evident on wifi connections or do you see them at the same times on devices connected on ethernet cables? If you don't know, can you check to help diagnose whether it is just a wifi issue or it could be network connection/Hub related?

What Hub model is it? What are the various Hub lights showing/doing when this happens?

I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired, 1 WiFi, 1 on PA) Hub5 in modem mode with Apple Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's. On 250Mbps, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.

Hi

We do not have any devices attached by cable only on WiFi.

A new hub was fitted a few months ago (maybe a hub 4?). It shows a white band of light around the top as usual.

The technician who came before suggested that the cables coming into the house may be eroded?

It is just very annoying now as I work from home and depend on good internet. I don't understand why it suddenly stops working.

It may just be wifi interference rather than a Hub/Network issue. For example when our new Panasonic microwave oven is switched on the wifi connection drops out 😞

You need to start by testing that.... by plugging a laptop/computer into the Hub on a Cat5e/6a ethernet cable and see how that performs when wifi is down
