Internet at 2Mbps instead of the usual 360+

Download speed down to 2-3Mbps, ping at 100+ms

Internet light flashing all-day


Virgin troubleshooter says that when the power light is on and internet light flashing that I should check that MY POWER CABLE IS PLUGGED IN ?!?!?!?
HOW THE HECK ARE THE LIGHTS SUPPOSED TO FLASH WITHOUT POWER?

Who designed this troubleshooter? A monkey?

Virgin says no problems in my area

I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired 2 WiFi,) SH2 in modem mode with Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's. On VIVID200, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.
