Other days have been affected as well, but these are the worst examples.
Currently, I am unable to remotely connect to the house to get logs from the SH. I have had the lights on the front described to me as the back-to-back arrows flash then occasionally go solid and the blue light next to them flashes for a while then goes off and the arrows start flashing again. Sounds to me like a sync issue.
I have had my mum reboot the SH on numerous occasions which occasionally will cause the connection to work, to some extent, for a while. However this is not reliable.
I think since the 4th dec the SO18 area has had massive issues, there was a major outage - F007616986 and since then peak time utilization has been horrid, your Mum's connection might be suffering from this, The Forum staff can look into it but I have an engineer booked tomorrow to check mine, before the 4th its been rock solid and since then its been shoddy after like 5 pm.
From what you said it does sound like a sync issue which would maybe point to either a loose cable or low signal strength coming in the house.

Thank you for your post and I am sorry your mother is having issues. Have you checked the service status page to see if she is affected by any outages or congestion you can see t if anything is effecting your mother here Please let us know and we can book an engineer for her if this isn't the case?
