Intermittent and Slow broadband connection in Brighton when it rains
Our Virginmedia broadband service is regularly affected by wet weather and damp in the air. We are not alone in having noticed this - other friends in the same area have too. But no Virgin engineers seem able to identify the problem. It is causing our WiFi to be practically useless when it has been raining.

I'm so sorry to hear you've been having some connection issues when it rains recently. I'm unsure as to why this happening for you. Our cables run underground, so the weather shouldn't impact the service for you at all.
Do you happen to know if the Omni box outside of your home or the cabinet that you're connected to is exposed at all?
