Intermittent Low Upload & Variable Download speeds

Martin_C_2018
On our wavelength

Hi can someone please advise if I have a problem, my upload speed is intermittently slow sometimes as low as 100Kbs, the download speed varies from 100 to 270Mbs, my package is 250/25.
This problem started 3 days ago, a factory reset or a reboot fixes the problem for a few hours.
The upstream channels do change from QAM64 to QAM16 after a while.
My connection to the router is wired.
Please check my posted router stats.

Many thanks Martin C

Your Upstream is wrong. The QAM should all be 64.  I would suggest noise or a SNR fault in the area? You will need a technician to fix this. If it is an area fault they will not attend until that is fixed. Either ring VM or wait here a day or two for a VM Mod to pick this up.

Thanks for the advice & info'.

Just called VM (150) and there are engineers working on a "complex" fault in this area, if a Forum MOD picks this up could you confirm please.
Thanks Martin C

Hi @Martin_C_2018, thank you for your post.

I've taken a look on our side and I can see you're currently being impacted by a SNR (Signal-to-noise ratio) outage.

The estimated fix time is currently showing as 3rd January at 5pm.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Regards,
Daniel
