I have a Hub 3 on the M100 Fibre package, but am experiencing inconsistent speed, usually much slower than 100Mbps.
It's a small flat, no wi-fi dead spots, the Virgin Connect app says "Great!" coverage in all rooms, with only a couple of devices connected to the network.
Now it's gone 5pm on Friday and people are logging off, I've just got the following reading:
Latency: 17.6 ms
But at various points throughout the day it's dropped as low as 1.56Mbps download speed, then fluctuates anywhere between about 12 and 40Mbps (40 if I'm lucky).
This has been going on for weeks, I've tried resetting, rebooting etc.
Can this really all be down to so many people online, or is it something else? It's driving me crazy and making it almost impossible to work from home - online meetings are hopeless.
Any help would be greatly appreciated - I'm not techie, so don't know where to find all the tables of information I've seen other people post, but can follow instructions if you point me in the right direction!
