I'm on M500 but getting 210Mbps at most..

Hi, 

Been with Virgin for months, joined just before lockdown happened and its been great was getting 530Mbps for months however a few weeks ago I noticed the speed I have been getting is maxing out at 210Mbps, thats with my laptop (gigabit ethernet) plugged directly into the hub, I've even tried putting it into modem mode with no improvement.... 

I've tried to contact Virgin about this on the chat app but get no response, I've even tried calling but again its useless....

I'll post my power levels incase there is an issue there....

Your upstream power levels are too high (They are actually 51 dBmV, however the HUB 3 reports a decimal out!).

This could be causing instability on your line.

A VM engineer visit is required to correct the power level.

I literally have been trying to get hold of them for a week but can't get hold of anyone from VM

Can you set up a Broadband Quality Monitor (BQM) at thinkbroadband.com - this will give you an insight into what is happening with the signal at the other side of the Hub, it will take a few hours to get any kind of trend showing although you can post the link straight away.

Post a link to your BQM on here.

Instructions for posting BQM Link

Under your BQM graph are two links in red.

Click the lower link (Share Live Graph) then click generate.

Copy the text in the Direct Link box, beware, there may be more text than you can see.

On here click the Link icon (2 links chain to the left of the camera icon)

In the URL box paste the link you copied and in the ‘text to display’ box write My BQM then click OK - you can post the link straight away.

Does your Operation Configuration for the downstream show correct for Max Traffic Rate?
