Hub being slow

I have a hub I use for wifi in the lounge - this is the master one with virgin cable going into this hub. Plus another wired in wifi unit upstairs.

Wifi upstairs is fine approx 100MB - but wifi downstairs on my main hub is awful - much lower - 25MB, sometimes just 5MB.

The standard checks to Virgin say the internet is fine and hub is fine.

The internet upstairs is fine and that runs hard wired to this hub downstairs. 

But wifi from the hub downstairs is awful.

I assume problem with my hub. - but any thoughts on how to correct it?

I've switched it off and on again and still problematic.

OK - I think I\ve solved this on my own - took a couple of days - but found this article:

And pressed the reset button on the back of the hub - to restore to factory default settings. Once restored it was working fine again. Will try in the morning once again when all the house is home schooling and working - but hoping this has fixed it.
