I had my hub upgraded last week from version 3 to version 5 as well as having my internet upgraded from 650 mbps to 1gb, using samknows it shows that the line is getting 1130 mbps like it should but the hub is only giving out 450 mbps maximum over ethernet direct to the hub, i've reset the hub and tried several different cables (cat 5e and cat6), the speed is usually between 230-350 mbps regardless of time of day.
I have a deco s4 which I believed was the problem but I have removed that entirely then reset the hub and checked the speed which didn't change, the speed over wireless even next to the hub is worse.
I've tried the ethernet on several ps5's, pc's and laptops all with gigabit ethernet ports on them with the exact same result
I've tried the hub in modem mode whilst using the deco system and got exactly the same speed
The 1 ethernet cable is the only cable plugged in to the hub
The engineer who fit the router said my line is perfect which is backed up by the hub getting the speed
Does anyone have any ideas on what I could do to speed up the internet?
Thanks in advance

Can you try the Hub in modem mode however using the 2.5 WAN port that's labelled and if you have router that has 2.5 GB WAN port as well this should in theory get you the full speed. I know I have 1GB on the Hub 4 however using an Asus WiFi 6 router I get the full speed on my WiFi 6 device.

Thanks for the reply, I have my hub 5 and deco, I use the hub in modem mode but have tried it in both modes, i've also tried 4 brand new cat 6 cables going directly from the hub to the device I am speed checking on, I don't have anything else to try it on.
Using the 1Gb or 2.5Gb gives me the same speeds regardless of being on modem mode or not.

Have you tried a wired device plugged into the HUB in router mode?
I couldn't quite tell from your posts.

Yes I have, it doesn't change the speed I get.
I wouldn't be so annoyed but my speeds are much slower now with a hub 5.0 and gig1 package compared to preupgrade with a hub 3.0 and 650 package.

Have you tried a direct ethernet connection and booting the computer into safe mode?

If you've tried both ports on YOUR router I can only assume it would be an external problem.
Would you be able to post your Hub stats so someone who's technical to go over and maybe able to see if you need an engineer to come out?

Hello Westwoodo.
Thanks for your post.
Are you able to post the Hub Stats please.
That way we can take a look into this in more detail.
