Hub 4 slow speeds no customer service

We connected to Hub , 6 days ago and since our speeds have been really slow 17.3 download and 5.6 upload. Today we got 0.7 and 0.3.

We have 2 boosters which we set up and connected after the hub 4 was installed.

I have tried customer service over the last 6 days been on phone holding for nearly 8 hrs but no one has answered or cut us off.  also been on chats but the internet crashing logs the chats out. We’ve put in a complaint but told there is no one to deal with it. Anyone offer any advice. Tried cancelling the account but have to go through customer service.

Re: Hub 4 slow speeds no customer service

how are you testing wired or via wifi - always test wired

post some info from the hub

log into hub4 - 192.168.0.1 [or 192.168.100.1 if in modem mode] - and post the downstream and upstream figures

Your Wifi symbol has a '!' sign within it meaning it believes there is no internet connection over Wifi, so will be using your 4G mobile data instead.

Re: Hub 4 slow speeds no customer service

Well spotted, carl_pearce !

And even with the WiFi connection restored, you can't measure the broadband speed that way. The only valid speed test is with a direct connection to the Hub.

Check the provided speed first. If that is correct, you will need to look at alternative ways to provide full WiFi coverage.
