Hi All !!
Been with Virgin now 3 weeks with the super fast gigabit broadband..... I am yet to even hit 400meg on a good day tops.
Spoke to support who are useless so any ideas how this can be resolved and quickly please !!!

Also as you have a Hub 4, go to www.samknows.com/realspeed on any device connected to your Hub.That will tell you what the connection between the Hub 4 and Virgin Media is doing. Any variation between that any your devices on your home network will be related to your internal setup.
Sam knows is now showing true speed of what it should be but why is it still throttling through ethernet and wifi ?
This has come up before and will come up many times in the future.
The Samknows test shows what speed is being delivered to your Hub4, anything beyond that is down to your equipment.

What does your network look like? Do you have any switches? What spec devices are you connecting?
Ideally you'd start with just one (modern) device connected via a Cat 6 Ethernet cable. Boot up the PC in "Safe Mode with Networking" and run a speed test to see what you get then.
