When I signed up for Virgin Media I could see the Gig1 package available (and all of the packages below) but decided at the time to go with the M200 package to see how it was.
Now, if I go to the Upgrade page (My Upgrades and Offers | Virgin Media) all I see is a "We don't have any recommended offers or upgrade available for you right now, however..." message.
If I search my address without logging in, I can only see the M200 package for my address but all of my neighbours addresses have up to the Gig1 package.
Also, when Virgin was installed, the put fibre in right to the box at my door.
I've no idea what's going on to be honest. I'd be tempted to upgrade if I could.

The online upgrades have never worked well, so call to get your Gig1.

I've tried via live chat a couple of times but they just told me it wasn't available and wouldn't listen.
I've not tried via the phone though. Do you think it would be more successful?
Try calling (at 0800 you are most likely to get through with minimal delay).
