GIG 1 Download speeds normal, upload speeds have been ~2mbs for a week. WTH?

I'm on Virgin Media GIG 1 fibre broadband. My download speeds are normal, but over the last week my upload speeds are crawling down to ~ 2mbs. It's literally faster to tether to my phone for uploads. I have a GIG1 connection I'm paying a fortune for. What on earth??

I don't have time to spend 5 million hours stuck on Virgin's awful call centre line with someone who has no idea what they're talking about. How can I make Virgin fix this nonsense?

Thanks for posting and welcome back to the community.

I am sorry to hear of the slow upload speeds.

I have done a system check and can see you are affected via an SNR issue (signal to noise ratio). F010916922 is the fault reference.

The estimated fix date is the 11th September, at 9am.

Hopefully fixed sooner but please monitor the connection after this time and report back any issues.
