Hi,

I had Virgin installed just over a month ago and was all ok except my upload speed was only 4 - 7 Mbps instead of the promised 37 Mbps, download was fine at around 550 Mbps.

Anyway after a Google search it was suggested to reboot the router. I did this and now I get the power light on green and the broadband lights flashing, the power light changes to white sometimes but then reverts to green. I have reset the router but nothing seems to make any difference.

I have carried out all the checks and have now hot an engineer coming out but does anyone know why this happened?

Sometime overnight my Internet came back on and all is OK with download speeds but the upload speed is still 7Mbps and not the sdvertised 37Mbps

Should I cancel the engineers visit?

I am sorry to hear you've been having some issues with your service.

For more info on what the lights mean on your hub please see 

If a visit has already been booked for you, I would keep it as the technician will be able to do their checks and hopefully that will resolve the intermittent issues you appear to be having.
